starting something new

Basically being a PhD student is like going on a long roller coaster ride where the highs are high, but the lows, man, the lows are so low, and there are some twisty parts for good measure... I'm definitely looking forward to an upward climb at some point soon. Juggling four classes, a research agenda, and home life is turning out to be quite a challenge this semester. My poor husband must be ready to chuck me! So rather than freak out on a daily basis because I can't make sense of what is going on in my busy life, (hopefully) daily posting on this blog will help to keep my life in order. Good luck, you say? We shall see...
